Park Ambassadors- Volunteers are needed who will monitor the park when they are using it. This includes talking to new park users, running interference, passing on park information, and encouraging good dog behavior. All that is required is that you attend a Dog Park 101 Class and attend a once a month meeting to discuss park updates and issues. You will receive a badge with your name that designates you as a volunteer. Volunteers are never to place themselves in danger and should always call the police if needed.
Park Events- Volunteers needed for events only at our park. Some examples would be Easter Egg Hunt, Howl-or-Whine.
Outside events- Volunteers needed for events we hold outside the park. Some examples would be Hunter Ridge pool days, Westie walk and Friends.
Park Maintenance-This is a new group we are trying to organize. This group we be called on when needing to do some of the fix up work, like laying stones to help with the mud . Also if we need to move the benches around, set up agility equipment. Basically physical labor.
